Biography
Y. Mark Hong, M.D. is a Phoenix native, a Board-certified urologist specializing in minimally invasive surgery at Integrative Urology, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology.
Dr. Hong attended Stanford University School of Medicine where he received several awards and research fellowships in areas as diverse as prostate cancer and tissue engineering with artificial nerve grafts. Dr. Hong completed his urological surgery residency at Harvard Medical School.
He was internationally recognized as an expert in minimally invasive surgery by the Endourological Society in Munich, Germany 2009. Dr. Hong has first-authored publications in almost every major international urological journal from prostate cancer detection to bladder cancer to health care policy.
Dr. Hong is the founding member of Integrative Urology, a new practice rooted in the belief the body has a natural ability to cure.
