About

Since its establishment in September 2002, Koga Hospital 21 has been a leader in advanced medical care. Starting with the early adoption of PET imaging technology, we have continuously expanded our departments and expertise to meet the growing needs of our community, providing high-quality outpatient, inpatient, and surgical services.

Comprehensive Cancer Care

Our “Comprehensive Cancer Support System” integrates early diagnosis at our PET Imaging Center with advanced treatments at our Radiotherapy Center and specialized care in our Palliative Care Ward. By coordinating surgery, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy from the earliest stages, we strive to minimize the physical and mental burden on our patients.

In December 2024, we became the second institution in Asia to introduce and begin TULSA (MRI-guided Transurethral Ultrasound Ablation) as a breakthrough treatment for prostate cancer.

TULSA is a proven, safe procedure that has earned both FDA clearance and the CE mark. Known for its minimal post-operative complications, we expect TULSA to become a leading therapy in the future of prostate cancer care.

Community and Network Integration

We work in close collaboration with the Tenjinkai Medical Corporation network (including Shin-Koga Hospital and Shin-Koga Clinic) and local nursing and welfare facilities. This ensures a seamless transition from hospital treatment to home-based care.
