Dr. Pratik Patel is a board-certified urologist and founder of Arizona State Urological Institute (ASUI). He completed his residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and pursued a fellowship in advanced kidney and transplant surgery at The Cleveland Clinic. Practicing in the East Valley since 2003, Dr. Patel specializes in complex cancer care, including prostate and kidney surgeries using the daVinci Robot. His expertise extends to focal treatments for prostate cancer like the cutting-edge TULSA-PRO and minimally invasive procedures for enlarged prostate (BPH), with options like office-based laser treatments. He also has a focus on female incontinence management.
Dr. Patel is deeply engaged in advancing prostate cancer care through clinical trials and serves as a principal investigator on multiple ongoing studies. Outside of medicine, he enjoys time with his wife, Anita, their two children, and their dog, Louie. An enthusiastic golfer (Hacker/Slicer), skier, and sports fan, he supports the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals, and New York Yankees—and has yet to win his first fantasy football league in twenty years.
