This center has two clinical therapeutic ultrasound systems which are used specifically to treat patients with prostate cancer, uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, bone metastases, osteoid osteomas, and desmoid tumors.
The doctors, physicists and researchers of this center conduct research in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) monitoring of therapeutic ultrasound treatment, therapeutic ultrasound modelling and clinical feasibility evaluation.
