Robert Princenthal, MD, is a board-certified radiologist with more than 25 years of experience. He is president and founding partner of Rolling Oaks Radiology, a network of outpatient imaging centers in Ventura County and also serves as the Medical Co-Director for RadNet’s Prostate MRI Program. This program is one of the most robust prostate MRI practices in the nation, of which Dr. Princenthal has been instrumental in establishing.

Martin Cohen, MD, is the co-director of our Prostate MRI Program. Dr. Cohen has more than 25 years of experience as a radiologist and practices out of Southern California, primarily with Rolling Oaks Radiology. Dr. Cohen received his medical degree with highest honors from the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University in Chicago. He stayed on at Northwestern where he completed his residency in CT, MRI, general radiology and ultrasound. He was selected to be Chief Resident for the program during his final year. He received advanced training from the University of California, San Diego as a fellow in Sectional Imaging and Interventional Radiology. Additionally, Dr. Cohen completed a PET Mini Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Ali Afshar, MD, is an expert in robotic surgery with advanced training in complex urologic cancer surgery as well as minimally invasive techniques. He currently practices out of San Fernando Valley Urological Associates offices in Tarzana and West Hills.

Dr. Afshar completed his urology residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and continued his training with a fellowship in advanced endourology and robotic surgery at the world-renowned USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Southern California.

Daniel Brison, MD, is a board certified urologist who completed medical school at the State University of New York, residency at UMDNJ, and fellowship at UCLA Geffen School of Medicine. He now practices as a part of Facey Medical Group.

Mayank Patel, MD, was born and raised in Lusaka, Zambia, and then moved to the United States to pursue his formal education. He earned his undergraduate degree at Boston University before earning his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. Dr. Patel completed an internship in general surgery and then began his urology residency at UCLA. He also earned the prestigious Willard E. Goodwin Resident Teaching Award. Dr. Patel’s clinical interests include urological cancers and robotic urological surgery. Dr. Patel now practices with Genesis Healthcare.

Kia Michel, MD, is a founding member of Comprehensive Urology in the Beverly Grove Community of Los Angeles. He is a leading figure in prostate cancer therapy, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), female urology, urological cancers, urinary disorders, incontinence, erectile dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, stone diseases, and anti-aging. He utilizes state-of-the-art treatments and diagnostics like MRI fusion biopsy, HIFU, TULSA-PRO, robotic surgery, and vaginal surgery. Dr. Michel is eager to apply his expertise and help his patients resolve their issues and stay healthy.

Gary Bellman, MD, founder of the Southern California Urology Institute, is a board-certified urologist with more than 25 years of experience in surgical procedures, with a specialty in minimally invasive surgery employed for delicate urologic treatment. Dr. Bellman has the distinction of receiving: “Top Urologist in Los Angeles”, “America’s Leading Experts”, “Patients’ Choice Award”, “Compassionate Doctor Award” for many years running, and “2018 Best of West Hills Doctor Award”.

Khaled Fareed, MD is a board certified urologist. He is a member of several professional societies, including the American Urological Association, Endourological Society, European Association of Urology, American Medical Association and the American Association of Clinical Urologists, among others.

Dr Fareed, was among the team who performed the first Robotic Single Port Trans-Vesical Prostatectomy and among the first 9 Urologists who were trained on & used the DaVinci Single Port (SP) Robotic Platform. Performing Extra-peritoneal Robotic Prostatectomy, Pyeloplasty, ureteral reimplants & Excision of bladder diverticulae as well as Y-V plasty of Bladder neck contractures. He has published a number of articles and abstracts on topics such as: radio-frequency ablation of renal lesions, laparoscopic urological surgery, and overactive bladder in men, among many others. He has also lectured on bladder and prostate cancer detection.
