Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre takes a comprehensive, team approach in diagnosing and treating prostate cancer, which includes a patient evaluation in screening for prostate cancer, detecting it at its earliest disease stage, providing a patient-oriented treatment plan and subsequent support. Our specialists will define treatment goals based on the specific details of the prostate cancer, previous treatments if any, and quality-of-life issues. Where cure is the goal, we offer state-of-the-art surgical approaches, non-invasive treatments, and advanced radiation therapy.

Where cure is not possible, we offer state-of-the-art treatment approaches to prolong survival and to maximize quality-of-life. The Odette Cancer Center also has leading scientists and clinicians dedicated in prostate cancer research excellence.
