George JS Kallingal, MD, MPH, is a Urologic Oncologist with Dignity Health – Cancer Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Urologic Association.
Dr. Kallingal’s expertise includes treating Prostate, Bladder, Kidney, Penile, Testicular, and Adrenal malignancies. He has expert skill on sophisticated robotic surgery, but also performs highly complex-open and endoscopic surgeries as well.
Dr. Kallingal received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed his Urology residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu and his Fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the University of Miami. He has been a faculty surgical educator for over eight years, has trained many residents, published high-quality urologic research and served internationally teaching robotic surgery. He completed 15 years of active duty service in the US Army and is an active member of the American Urologic Association and the Society for Government Service Urologists.
Dr. Kallingal has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, surgical quality improvement and compassionate patient care. His mission is to advance the field of Urologic Oncology and create an exceptional patient experience.
